mary walcott
Although Mary Walcott wasn't a notorious accuser in the Salem Witch Trials, her role didn't go unnoticed. Her aunt, Mary Sibley, had the idea to use magic to fend off the evil powers of the village. Sibley convinved Tituba and John Indian to make the "witch cake" that ended up getting them accused. Mary Walcott was not an aggressive accuser. During the trials, she would sit calmly and knit, and would only look up every so often to confirm some one else's story.
