Mary warren
Mary Warren was born 20 years before the Salem Witch Trials and became one of the most rigorous accusers. She was a servant for John Proctor, and at that time only mildly joined in with the other girls' accusations. Because the Proctor's didn't like the trials, when he found out Mary was one of the accusers, he threatened to whip her. When Mary accused Alice Parker, she said that Parker killed her mother and her sister Elizabeth. During some of her accusations in the court rooms, Mary through fits and said that she was being afflicted. Warren introduced fraud in the trials, and that was a turning point at that time.
